Om Transition

The Magazine Transition together with the website www.transition.se is a total concept for action sports in Sweden. For almost a decade we have been serving the swedish action sport community with the best images and stories possible, we have a strong passion for our work and during 2012 we will continue to be an active player on the swedish action sport market.

OUR READER
Transitions reader spreads from 14-35 years with an average age of 24 years, 80% male and 20% female. A majority of them work or parttake in higher education, they spend around 150€ each month in core shops and they’re online for more than 15h per week. Their favourite sports are snowboarding, freeskiing, skateboarding and surfing.

DISTRIBUTION
Total circulation is 14 000 copies with around 29.000 readers. The distribution ways are; subscriptions, news stands and kiosks through Interpress and through apparel- and hardware stores for the skate-, surf-, ski- and snowboard industry and Internet shops within our genre. During the year 2011 we will work even harder on the local level and continue to create co-operations with new clubs, sports facilities and associations. We feel it’s very important to reach the grass roots within the different aspects of genres. Transition is also available in every school library, state library and school cafeterias in Sweden

PARTNERSHIPS AND EVENTS
We work closely with the leading events and film productions in Sweden and Scandinavia: Our recent partnerships are: Stadium Winter Jam, Jon Olsson Super Sessions, WeSC Skate Camps, King of Style, Frontline Railjam, Pirate Movie Productions, Field Productions, Winter Project, Gothenburg Rail Battle, Actionhorse Films, Burton European Open and Millencolin Open. We will also continue working with our own events Transition Winter Awards and Transition Team Challenge.
